Describe a day in your CADY life?

I am a relationship-builder for our customers, the schools, so every day I’m meeting with principals, athletic directors, or yearbook advisors just making their life as easy as possible. We have 116 high schools in Atlanta alone, so this means lots of things, like training their yearbook staff on photography basics, talking to them about their school branding so we can best reflect their unique culture in our studio sessions, securing logistics for an awesome graduation shoot, even celebrating milestones and deadlines with a pizza or cookie party. In short, I do everything I can to make our schools feel valued and special.

Life before CADY?

Prior to CADY I was actually in the school system, working as a ParaPRO in autistic classes and in Pre-K through 5th grade. I had a bad fall and broke my collarbone and shattered my elbow and soon figured out that I wasn't going to have the range of motion I needed to work with autistic students. The opportunity with CADY truly fell in my lap at the perfect time. It’s a great fit for me because it combines marketing and business development but still allows me to be in my comfort zone – the schools.

"I don’t have a poker face. I’m not trying to tell you or sell you, I’m trying to help you."

My favorite CADY core value is Fanatically Passionate.

I believe you should be fanatically passionate about everything you commit to. If you believe in what you are doing and saying, others will want to be a part of it too. I absolutely love education! Kids are a priority to me. They are our future, and we need to invest in them. Every day I see the value I add with CADY, we’re telling stories and capturing moments. When we help schools bring their branding to life through our images we help get students pumped and excited, and that excitement helps with attendance, morale, and school spirit. That’s a fanatically passionate outcome.

You're a unique part of your team. Why do you think that is?
I believe my experience working in the education field and Business Development has helped me be able to relate to our customers and build relationships. I truly enjoy helping people and I think my schools can sense that I am genuine when I say I am here to help make their life easy!

A thousand moments in time. Because when Seniors look back at their images all the amazing memories will come flooding back in an instance.
