Before CADY I was a Senior Art Director for an ad agency in Atlanta. I worked there for 6 years and worked on lots of fun accounts like Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta Community Food Bank. I took on a hybrid role there as a Creative and Accounts Manager which sparked my love for project management. I have always loved the creative process and telling a story with my work. Now I tell new stories using processes instead of InDesign. Project Management lets me use my strategic mindset while feeing my addiction to lists.
As a project manager, you would think my answer would be “Small Details Are Huge” but that’s just part of my role. The value that I most appreciate and identify with is "Celebrate Each Other". I love to recognize someone when they did a great job. It makes me happy to know someone has been recognized for their hard work. I love to tell someone I am proud of them when I am. Because, you know, you expect your boss to tell you that you're doing a good job, but you don't always expect your peers to do so.
"We have a division called CADY culture where we give schools credits like 5,000 or 10,000 points. It’s dollars that goes towards beautifying their school with their branding. So, think wall wraps, screens, window wraps, decals, etc, that can go all over the school with their mascot, logo and quotes. It’s an amazing thing to do."
Cady has a really great vibe. It's a great environment to be in. It starts with our CEO, Josh, because he's a very much an ideas kind of guy, and he likes everything that’s new, exciting, and better. And that’s so important because you don't want to be with a stagnant leader. So everyone is amped to do their job and work better together.
