CAN I CONFIRM OR RESCHEDULE MY SENIOR SESSION?

Yes, you can confirm your session’s date and location or reschedule your session if needed by logging into your account here and click the “Events” tab.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY SENIOR SESSION?

HOW DO I SCHEDULE MY SENIOR SESSION?

You can visit our scheduling page here. Make sure to bring your credit or debit card. (Payment is due at the time of booking)

HOW CAN I RETURN MY SENIOR PORTFOLIO?

You have two options; you can bring your portfolio into any of our studio locations during our normal business hours, or you can return it by mail, by login to your account here and click on the “Portfolio” tab before your deadline date to print your complimentary return label. Make sure to include all of your printed images that came with your portfolio in your return.

I LOVE MY SENIOR IMAGES! CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?

CAN I SCHEDULE RETAKES FOR MY SENIOR PORTRAITS?

Yes, we offer complimentary retakes if you’re not 100% satisfied with your Senior portraits. You can visit your account dashboard here and select the “Events” tab after your original session and just click the “Schedule Retakes” button.

SENIOR SESSION FAQ

WHAT IS A SESSION?

“Session” simply refers to your photo shoot at Cady. It could range from a basic yearbook photo plus a cap and gown session to an all-out private photography experience including twelve locations and hair and makeup styling. Then, of course, there are plenty of options in between. You choose the one that fits your style.

WHAT TYPE OF SESSION SHOULD I CHOOSE?

It’s your senior year, so choose the session that fits you best. If you have your eye on just one scene, go Simple. If you’ve been looking forward to going all out, spring for Spoil Me Elite. Or you can always just go with the essentials with Most Popular. Book my session now!

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY SESSION FEE?

The minimum session fee includes a photo shoot for the yearbook as well as one in your cap and gown on an indoor scene of your choice, plus editing and viewing. Prints, packages, and upgrades come with additional charges.

WHAT ABOUT MY YEARBOOK PHOTO?

We’ll photograph you in multiple poses for your school yearbook photo. If your session takes place before your school’s deadline, you’ll make it in the yearbook! If you want to select your pose for the yearbook, we suggest having your session before school starts to make sure you beat all the deadlines. The closer you get to your school’s cut-off date, the more likely it is that Cady will have to select your yearbook pose for you. Don’t worry about drapes or tuxedos; we provide them. However, guys should bring a solid white t-shirt to wear underneath, and girls should bring a strapless or spaghetti strap top. (Tip: A pearl necklace makes a great accessory here, ladies.)

HOW DO I PICK MY YEARBOOK PHOTO?

Here’s a simple guide.

Click the personal link in your email to take you your account, view your images and you will be prompted to select your Yearbook Pose.
If you can’t locate the email, log in to your account here to view your images and you will be prompted to select your Formal Yearbook Pose and your Casual Yearbook Pose (if applicable to your school yearbook). Be sure to select these before your school’s yearbook deadline, or else you may be left out of the yearbook.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION?

Simple. Bring your credit card here. (Payment is due at the time of booking.)

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?

Most students take their senior portraits the summer between their junior and senior year, but book as soon as possible, because appointments fill up fast. Every school has a specific deadline for the last day you can be photographed for the yearbook, and for the last day, you are able to select your own yearbook pose. We recommend booking in July and August to make sure you beat yearbook deadlines. Book my session now!

HOW DO I GET READY FOR MY SESSION?

Check out our Seniors Session Prep page to get an idea of what will happen the day of your session and how to plan for it.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY SESSION?

Good question! For starters, bring several different outfits and accessories.

If you’re doing your own hair and makeup, bring supplies for touch-ups between scenes. The south in summer may not have your hair’s best interests in mind, but we’ll keep an eye out for it and give you plenty of time to freshen up.

This session is about you, so bring anything that shows off your personality and interests. Props could include athletic uniforms and equipment, musical instruments, cars and, yes, even pets.

Don’t forget to bring something to wear underneath your tux or drape for the yearbook photo. We will provide the tuxedo and drape for you. Guys will need a plain white tee, and girls should bring a strapless or spaghetti-strap top.

DO I NEED TO BRING IN MY CAP & GOWN?

No, we provide this for you! We have each school’s Cap and Gown as well as a tassel at the studio. We also have sashes for students that are part of the honor society. Just bring a white undershirt for guys and a spaghetti strap shirt for girls.

SENIOR PORTFOLIO & ORDERS FAQ

WHY DID I RECEIVE A PORTFOLIO? I DO NOT REMEMBER REQUESTING ONE.

Cady sends out a hand stuffed Portfolio to every Senior who completes one of our Traditional sessions. This information is given in the Terms and Conditions when you booked your session. We feel that Graduation is a huge milestone, one that deserves having tangible printed proofs in hand to view before placing an order.

I DIDN’T RECEIVE MY PORTFOLIO

Some students do not receive portfolios for a number of reasons. If you completed a Most Popular, or one of our Elite sessions, we offer an in-person viewing presentation for these images! These sessions come with some fun surprises during your presentation, including a great slideshow with video clips that our staff puts together. You should have scheduled your viewing presentation at the end of your session.

A few students also do not receive their portfolio due to shipping issues, please contact our Customer Service Team if you feel there might be an issue with delivery. You can also check the status in your dashboard (online portal).

Finally, we also need a card on file to be able to send out a portfolio, as there is a deadline to purchase or return it and if no action is taken, we assume you want to keep the portfolio and the card on file will be charged full retail value of the portfolio. You may contact Customer Service to add a card.

CAN I KEEP THE PORTFOLIO I RECEIVED?

Yes, of course! The cost for this is $150 (plus tax & shipping) if purchased by itself by your deadline date. After your deadline, the portfolio costs $200 plus tax & shipping. The portfolio is also FREE in any Senior package valued over $399!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT RETURN MY PORTFOLIO?

If the portfolio is not returned by the end of the 60-day deadline, the card on file will be charged the full retail value of the portfolio. This is $200 plus tax & shipping.

HOW CAN I RETURN THE PORTFOLIO?

We provide a pre-paid return label in your online Senior profile! This can be printed and utilized at any time! Make sure to return the portfolio within 60 days from your session date to avoid being charged.

You may also return your portfolio to any of our Studio locations during business hours!

MY PORTFOLIO & PROOFS LOOK AWESOME! CAN I ORDER ANOTHER?

Yes, you can log in at any time to make any purchases. If you are in the process of ordering a package, you will have the option to add extra portfolios to it during checkout.

I’M HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY IMAGE DOWNLOAD.

We’re sorry that you’re having problems but we’re here to help! We send your images in a zipped file, but it must be downloaded on a desktop computer–not your phone or tablet. If you are still having trouble, please reach out to our Customer Service Team.

CAP AND GOWN FAQ

WHY HAVEN’T I RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH MY IMAGES?

Email and Text notifications are sent to email(s) and number(s) on the students profile. If you are not receiving email notifications and you’re sure your email is on the profile, please check your spam folder. If you still don’t see anything, please contact our Customer Experience department.

I CAN’T LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT. HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?

You can reset your password here, click on the link, ‘Forgotten password’ to reset your password, if you do not receive an email first check your spam folder and then call our Customer Experience department to confirm the email address on file is the same that you are using.

ARE MY CAP AND GOWN IMAGES INCLUDED WITH MY SENIOR ORDER?

The Cap and Gown images are taken at the same time as the Senior Session for convenience purposes, however these are sold separately and released in the Spring of your Senior year closer to Graduation.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

You can start looking for them about 1 week after you place your order. Log in to your dashboard to check the status!

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

We do offer payment plans for orders of $250 and over.

HOW DO I GET MY PROOFS?

All Cap and Gown proofs will be mailed to the address on file and also, emailed to the email on file. Senior Class of 2020, you can also search for images here or you can log into your Senior Dashboard.

HOW DO I GET MY TOKEN NUMBER?

You’ll find your token number inside the Cap & Gown flier sent to your home. We will also email you your token when the proofs ship, as long as you gave us your email address. You can also log into your Senior Dashboard.

WHAT IS A TOKEN NUMBER?

All Seniors with Cap & Gown images are assigned a 5-character token that you can use to view your photos online. If you received a token, please click here to go to our Cap & Gown ordering site and click “Place Order.”

WHY ARE TWO OF THE CAP AND GOWN IMAGES IN BLACK AND WHITE, WHEN I DID NOT REQUEST THIS?

Each student takes four Cap and Gown images. We process the two formal shots in color and the two personality shots taken are automatically edited into our Exposure Scene look, which is our most popular Senior Scene!

CAN I CHANGE THE BLACK AND WHITE IMAGES TO COLOR?

We do offer the option to change your personality images to color. When placing your order, you may choose the “Convert Black and White Image to Color” Option to either, or both of the Black and White images! Pricing is $14 per pose you’d like changed!

I DON’T LIKE MY IMAGES, CAN I SCHEDULE A RETAKE?

Yes, our Senior and Cap & Gown portraits have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you don’t like them you can log into your Senior Dashboard to schedule a retake or you can contact our Customer Service department to reschedule for you!

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY PERSONALITY IMAGE TO BE CONVERTED TO COLOR?

Our Cap and Gown portraits are taken on a green screen and the background is added during editing because the background varies per school. Our Personality Portraits are intended to be enjoyed in a classic black and white look and converting these to color requires our team to hand edit the images to include your school’s signature background.

WHAT IF I WASN’T PHOTOGRAPHED IN MY STOLE/CORDS?

We have an honors stole that can be used when taking these images, unfortunately, there are some clubs and organizations that we are unable to obtain a stole or cord for. If you’ve received your cords or stole for graduation, we are happy to retake your Cap and Gown images! Please contact our Customer Service department to set up a retake date!

MY PICTURES LOOK AWESOME! CAN I ORDER MORE?

GRADUATION FAQ

DO WE SELL THE CAP AND GOWN?

We do not. However, we do have gowns that can be used during your session! We have the exact caps and gowns for each school we are contracted with.

HOW LONG AFTER GRADUATION WILL MY IMAGES BE AVAILABLE?

Your Graduation images will be available to view and purchase about 48 hours after the event!

HOW WILL MY GRADUATION IMAGES BE TAKEN?

Our photographers will be taking photos all throughout the live event. We will photograph each student on stage while receiving their diploma and after exiting the stage.

WHAT IF I DON’T LOVE MY IMAGE?

Since these images are taken at a live event, we are unable to offer a retake. However, we do strive to make every parent and student happy with their images. You may reach out to our Customer Service Team to further discuss what could be done to improve your images!

MY PICTURES LOOK AWESOME! CAN I ORDER MORE?

UNDERCLASS FAQ

WHAT IF I MISSED PICTURE DAY?

If you were out of school on picture day, you’ll be able to make up your photo on a scheduled retake day. This day should be advertised around your school, but you can always check with the yearbook advisor.

IF I DIDN’T PRE-ORDER, CAN I STILL PURCHASE PHOTOS?

Yes! You can place your order online here.

HOW LONG ARE MY PHOTOS AVAILABLE?

Your images are archived at the end of every school year. Unfortunately, we are unable to retrieve Underclass photos prior to Summer 2020. 

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PHOTOS?

You can pay online here with a credit card, or with cash, check or credit card number on the picture day order form.

WHAT’S A TOKEN NUMBER?

A token is an 11-digit number that allows you to view your photos online without having to register. Simply visit the underclass ordering site here and enter your token in the box provided.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Orders received on picture day typically take 21 days be processed and shipped.

DOES THIS PHOTO GO IN THE YEARBOOK?

Yes, but most yearbooks display a standard blue or gray background on all student photos, rather than the fun color you can choose.

DO YOU OFFER ANY ENHANCING OPTIONS?

Definitely. You can add personalized text, like your name and/or school year.  We also provide minor retouching services such as complexion softening and teeth lightening. Simply select a package that includes retouching when you order, and your retouched photo will even go in the yearbook.

ATHLETICS FAQ

HOW DO I ORDER PHOTOS?

Use the token number found in your proofs to log in to our online ordering system. From there, you can view and order your athletic portraits as well as purchase prints and custom products. You can also order using cash or check by filling out the Athletic Pre-Paid Flier. You can get this flier from your coach. If you order via this flier, you must enclose payment in the form of exact cash or check. If you would like to pay by credit card, please order here.

HOW DO I GET MY PROOFS?

All athletic proofs will be mailed to your school. If you aren’t sure if you’ve received them yet, check with your coach.

HOW DO I GET MY TOKEN NUMBER?

You’ll find your token number inside the athletic proofs sent to your school. We will also email you your token when the proofs ship, as long as you gave us your email address.
